We have been trying out Cragar car care detail products for our team. We have looked at the Premium FX Series. We tried the Speed Brite – Total Wheel Cleaner and the Tire Black on an NASCAR Truck and Trailer, both worked out fine and they kept up with other similar retail off the shelf products and could be considered very good second tier products for professional detailers and first tier for off the shelf automotive cleaning and detailing products for Do It Yourself car owners.
The Speed Brite total wheel cleaner worked as good as Auto Magic Brand’s EZ White whitewall cleaner on the alloy and chrome wheels, but we do not recommend it for polished aluminum Alcoa or specialty rims or on Plastic Coated wheel logo caps or wheels. By the way all these products can be further reviewed at
Cragar Spray Gloss Super Shine sounds fancy and can hold it’s own against the Meguiars brand they sell at Wal-Mart, but did not do as good against the Boat and Marine Spray Wax from Meguiars Marine Catalog. We used some on the hood of the Blitzmobile;
as well as on the hood of a passer bye who wondered who are those guys and what are they doing in that parking lot at the CES Show between seminars? We believe in Cragar’s motto for their Premium FX Series Products and that is “Superior Engineering Superior Results” and so we put their newest product the Brake Dust Barrier – Wheel Surface Protectant to work. The product worked great but we did not see the need for two products and we prefer one to do both jobs, for instance able to get into the spider web style BMW rims like on the 2002 BMW or the 3.18 BMW and remove and neutralize and clean off brake dust. Also using a pressure washer the product is not necessary for our team as the current products we use are fine. But the stuff did work well. We enjoyed it as we are moving away completely from any kind of acid to clean rims, for environmental reasons of the EPA and NPDES Permitting, but also due to possible lawsuits from workers and OSHA Standards mandated by some bureaucracy chief somewhere under some rock?
We really enjoyed the Rain Repel – Glass Treatment and found it to be nearly as good as a Hydrophobic window treatment or a coat of Rain-X although it lasted almost as long as Rain-X it is also half the price.
I hope you have enjoyed this weeks Retail Product test and Automotive Detailing Product Review for Cragar Premium FX Series Car Care Products, because it is expensive for us to go buy this stuff off the shelf at retail to bring this data to our Do It Yourself clientele.
With the widespread use of the internet, mobile phones, smart devices, tablets, laptop and desktop computers – the way that we search for anything that we wish to purchase has changed over the recent years. When it comes to looking to purchase an automotive vehicle we often turn to the internet in order to compare and contrast our preferred car to drive. We want to look at multiple images as well as a video if possible so that we can fully take in the look and feel of the vehicles – this may even assist us in purchasing the auto vehicle, car, van, motorcycle or maybe even caravan without even going to view it in person.
So we have established in general what the car purchaser expects to be available at their fingertips so aid in purchasing. But, what about the car dealers large and small that are out there? The large organisations will most probably have a corporate engine behind them which will be used to showcase their stock. But what about the smaller car dealer or the person who may go to the car auctions now and again and looks to showcase their purchase in order to effect a quick sale?
We do know that there are industry platforms that can be used for a fee [similar to what we find in the restaurant take away industry] which many choose to make use of. With that said many savvy car dealers are becoming more and more aware of how important it is to establish a digital marketing footprint in their area of operation and that managing their operations via a third party platform may well prove as a hindrance in their business branding goals.
It is with the above point in mind that automotive showrooms are taking steps to have their own auto showroom car sales and marketing platform. This will enable them to be in full control over when they list vehicles, change images and with the car sales platform listed on their own company domain along with their own branding and imaging; over time this allows them to build real equity into the business with no ongoing commission or individual car listings fees to pay.
Digital marketing for car dealers and automotive sellers in the form of having their own website with their own domain, based around company specific auto dealership marketing which will see users coming directly to the car dealer website and not an industry platform. Adopting this form of car sales marketing is certainly the way to carve out a car sales and marketing brand which will lead to increased revenues, expanded digital marketing footprint and enhanced brand equity.
Your car is one of your most valued possessions without which your daily life can become really tough. Therefore, it is essential that you maintain it in fine working order at all times. Considering that your vehicle may need regular servicing and occasional repairs, you need to have an automotive repair expert whom you can count on to handle your car in an efficient and safe way.
It is better to find and select an auto repair facility before you actually need one. If you start searching when you have had an accident or the car has suddenly developed problems, you will have to make a rushed decision which might not be the right one. Since you will be requiring the services of an auto mechanic at some point or the other, why not be prepared with a good one?
You should start your search by asking your friends and colleagues for recommendations. However, this is not the only source you have and you can make quite a comprehensive search online. Look up a popular local business directory to learn about the different automotive repair facilities in your area. Don’t let convenient location be the biggest reason for choosing a particular shop. You should try to gather more details about the facilities that you find worth considering. Research online for customer reviews and enquire about the shops’ reputation and complaint history from the local consumer organization. You must look for shops that have technicians who are Automotive Service Excellence certified.
Visiting the facility personally is a must if you want to make the right choice. Look at how neat and well-organized the place is and check out how much advanced equipment and technology is being used. You should observe the types of cars already being worked on to see whether the shop handles vehicles that are similar to yours in size, value and technology. Don’t hesitate to ask if the technicians are sufficiently experienced in working on your car’s make and model. The other important things to find out are whether the shop carries theft and fire insurance and what sort of warranty is offered on the jobs done.
Look around to see whether any special qualifications, diplomas, certificates, awards, etc. achieved by the technicians are displayed. You must also check whether the facility has won any customer service awards or plaques for community service and civic involvement. You should look for services that are not only technically superb, but also friendly, courteous and hassle-free.
Along with all the fore-mentioned important factors, you must also rely on your intuition and go to a repair shop that inspires trust and a comfortable feeling within you.
